Caversham Library Closed Thursday 19 December

Caversham Library will be closed on Thursday 19th December to allow staff attendance at a memorial for our colleague Jackie Perrow. The library will open as normal on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st. All other libraries are open as normal. No items will be due on the 19th, the bookdrop will be open and no fines are charged. Our apologies for any inconvenience but thank you for your understanding.

Christmas Closure 2024

All Reading Libraries will be closed from Tuesday 24th December at Noon and will reopen with normal opening hours on Thursday 2nd January 2025. Please note that Battle Library is not open on Tuesday mornings and is therefore shut on 24th December.

No items will be due back during the time we are closed. A Drop Box will be available at Reading Central Library but all other Drop Boxes will be closed.
