Arthur Allan Seidelman's production of Shakespeare's classic play. Scottish nobleman Macbeth (Jeremy Brett) is rewarded by his king for his valour in battle. However, he allows his scheming wife (Piper Laurie) to persuade him that the king must be murdered while a guest in their home - so that Macbeth himself may succeed to the throne.
