The Fifties

1982
Music Scores
In spite of the aftermath of the War, the Nineteen Fifties was a decade of progress, from the austerity that launched the era to the "Never had it so good" slogans at its close. And the music too marked a change which is still prominent today. The Fifties began with the age of the crooner, but by the middle of the decade a new mood was emerging - the birth of rock 'n' roll.
