Emma Carter, a seventy-three-year old who does not have much money, buys a ticket for the lottery every week, hoping to win and buy aeroplane tickets to visit her son in Australia. Jason Williams, buys tickets every week too, but he is not a very nice young man. He steals things, hits old ladies in the street, snatches their bags and runs away.
