The Great Western Railway Station, Reading, and Station Square, c. 1909. To the left, on the south side of the Square, there is a hoarding behind the pavement, and behind that, a small building with a pointed roof, looking like a workmen's shelter. The statue of Edward VII is to the right of that, and on the far right is the corner of the South Eastern Railway Station. There is an assortment of early motor-cars, horse-drawn cabs, and hand-carts on the Square. 1900-1909 : postcard by Francis Frith and Company, numbered 6220, with the caption, "Reading G.W.R. Station." There is another postcard version on Dynix 1246470
