Beenham Post Office, Basingstoke Road, Padworth, c. 1935. The road is rising on an embankment, to cross the railway line at Aldermaston Station. The post office is a timber building, constructed on stilts, to avoid flood water. Several men with bicycles stand by it. 1930-1939 : postcard by H. A.
