There is a donkey cart on the bridge, a man on a horse behind it, and several men on the pavement, some of whom are identified by a manuscript note on the back of the postcard: "Joseph Patey with his donkey-cart, the two men on the right, the taller, Mr. Bowden, the other, Mr. John Cope.
