Textile design by Silver Studio in 1899. The Studio was founded by Arthur Silver (1853-1896), who studied at Reading, 1869-1872. He was succeeded in the Studio by his two sons, Rex and Harry. The Studio closed in 1960, having designed around 20,000 fabrics, wallpapers and carpets.
