On the opposite side, the corner of Minster Street appears in the distance, the Boar's Head public house (No. 124) can be seen, and Colebrook and Company's butcher's and fishmonger's shop (No. 120). There are a number of horse-drawn vehicles in the street, an early motor car, and an electric tramcar. 1900-1909: postcard with the caption, "Broad Street, Reading."
