Factory Bridge, Reading, from the south, c. 1840. It carried King's Road over the New Cut of the Kennet Navigation, and was replaced by King's Bridge c. 1931, when the road was realigned to iron out the bend. To the left can be seen the wooden bridge carrying Watlington Street over the cut, known as Silly Bridge. 1840-1849 : newsprint. There is a copy of the original print at Reading Museum (2007)
