Children at Cookham School, c. 1893, with teachers standing to the left. All of the girls wear white pinafores, and are seated in the middle two rows. The boys, some of them wearing Eton collars, stand at the back, or sit on the ground at the front. The girl marked with an "X" is Edith Annie Rutland, born in Wooburn in 1882 and now living in Cookham. She was to marry Ernest Graham, and they emigrated to Western Australia with their son Edward, in 1912
