On the west side can be seen No. 34 (Turner's grocery stores), and No. 33 (Salmon Ltd., tea and coffee merchants, and cafe), and on the east side Nos. 13, 14, 15 and 16 (The London, County and Westminster Bank), and No. 12 (Morris and Davis, tailors). The Soane obelisk appears behind the market stalls, one of which, in the left foreground, is a fishmonger's. 1910-1919: copy of a postcard, with the caption, "Reading, Market Place."
