Southampton Street (this part of the street was then known as Horn Street), Reading, c. 1823, looking southwards. On the east side, part of No. 9 (butcher's shop); No. 11; the end of Mud Lane; No. 13 (The Little Crown Inn); St. Giles's Church. A coach turns the corner from Crown Street to come down the hill.
