On the revival of religion, by the Rev. J. Angell James [slightly abridged]. Anniversary and other special services, at Trinity Chapel, Queen's Road, Reading / Monday and Wednesday, June 14 & 16, special prayer meetings will be held in the school room, on each evening. Thursday, June 17 divine service will be held in the chapel, when the Rev. Wm Landels, of Regent's Park Chapel, will preach in the morning, and the Rev. James Sherman, of Blackheath, in the evening. Sunday, June 27, the Rev H. Grattan Guiness will preach in the chapel, both morning and evening, and in the afternoon in the open air at the Forbury, and it is hoped he will take part in some further special services in that week, of which due notice will be given on the Sunday. The morning service will commence at 11 o'clock and the evening at 7 o'clock, except that of Sunday which will commence at half-past six.
